SERVICES
Hip and knee surgery, and the assessment that comes first.
Mako robotic-arm assisted hip and knee replacement, revision surgery, and the assessment of hip and knee arthritis — including the non-surgical options that come before an operation.

HIP SURGERY
Hip Surgery
Anterior Total Hip Replacement
Mako robotic-arm assisted anterior total hip replacement combines a muscle-sparing anterior surgical approach with CT-based three-dimensional planning. The worn ball-and-socket surfaces of the hip are replaced with prosthetic components.
Revision Total Hip Replacement
Revision hip replacement is performed when part or all of an existing hip replacement needs to be removed and reconstructed.
KNEE SURGERY
Knee Surgery
Total Knee Replacement
Mako total knee replacement is a robotic-arm assisted procedure for patients whose knee has been extensively damaged, most commonly by osteoarthritis. The worn joint surfaces are removed and replaced with metal and polyethylene components designed to reduce pain and restore useful movement.
Partial Knee Replacement
Mako partial knee replacement, also called unicompartmental knee replacement, replaces only the part of the knee affected by arthritis. The healthy compartments, the cruciate ligaments and as much normal bone as possible are preserved.
Revision Total Knee Replacement
Revision knee replacement is performed when a previous knee replacement is no longer functioning satisfactorily and one or more components need to be removed, repaired or replaced.
